Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is a natural, non-surgical, drug-free treatment that involves manipulation of restricted joints in the spine and extremities. Joints can become restricted due to improper posture, trauma/injury, or poor muscle activity.

This is the traditional “snap crackle pop” part of chiropractic care that you might be familiar with. Chiropractic adjustments are an important component to our treatments.

Functional Range Release Technique

Functional Range Release technique, or FR® Release is an advanced, and comprehensive system of soft tissue assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation used by some of the most highly regarded manual therapists around the world. This system evaluates soft tissue and the movement/function of the area in order to provide the appropriate treatment. This treatment technique is utilized by top professionals around the world such as the Cubs, Nike Athletes, The Los Angeles Lakers, The Buffalo Bills and more.

Functional Rehab

Improper movement patterns, or movement dysfunction, are often major contributors to pain syndromes and poor performance. Dr. Adams designs a personalized set of exercises to help redefine your health and improve your body’s durability as well as fixing irregular movement patterns that often lead to pain dysfunction.

Prenatal Chiropractic care

Dr. Adams is trained in Webster Technique which is continued education through the ICPA that gives her expertise on taking care of people throughout the journey of pregnancy. Webster Technique is a gentle and safe technique used to analyze the sacrum and the surrounding structures that can be affected during pregnancy.

Acupuncture

A technique deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this case, the insertion of needles is based on Meridians of the body, influencing fascial planes and benefiting whole body health.

McKenzie Method

The McKenzie Method (MDT) is world renowned assessment process intended for all musculoskeletal problems, including pain in the back, neck, extremities (shoulder, elbow, ankle, etc). MDT has also been shown to improve issues associated with sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, muscle spasms, and intermittent numbness of the hands & feet.

Cupping + Taping

Cupping & Taping are two techniques used to enhance fluid dynamics, posture, nerve entrapment and scars.

The effects of elastic therapeutic taping include pain mitigation, circulation improvement and proprioception training. We believe in ‘taping movement, not muscles’ to allow your body to continue to improve while you move, even while you’re outside of the office.

Cupping Therapy is thousands of years old (rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine), but became extremely popular in the U.S. when they were showcased on several elite athletes during the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Cupping provides a decompressive force to the skin and fascia, improving fascial glide and often mitigating complicated pain processes.
